Region usage

Which of the following does the string mean ? :a) the way in which the region is used (how to use it)

b) the amount of regions that are used (how many are used)

c) the % of space used within a region (how much is used)

Region Usage refers to (a)the manner in which the region is used.

OO

Is it an abbreviation with some meaning, or should I just leave it untranslated ?

This string is required in order to get a UI element to appear, but is never itself displayed. Please leave it untranslated

OO

OK です。

[A?A?A?A° ]

It looks corrupted. Should I just leave it untranslated ?

This label is supposed to be the mathematical symbol for 'degrees' (ie a small superscript circle), contained with square brackets. I do not believe that this needs to be translated

[A?A?A?A° ]

OK です。

Isolate Group

If you perform "Isolate Group" to a particular group, what happens to that group ? Will it become the only group visible, with all the other groups hidden ?

If you perform "Isolate Group", all parts belonging to that group become visible, and all parts that do not belong to the group become hidden.

Part Weight Unit per Length/Area Volume

"Length/Area Volume" can be interpreted as either "(Length) and (Area Volume)" or "(Length Volume) and (Area Volume)". Is either of them correct ? Or should it be "Length/Area/Volume" ? [OT]

You should interpet it as "length/area/volume"

Failed and Notified Contact

In other strings, I guess "Notified Contact" could mean "the contact who is going to be notified". But in this particular string, I guess "Notified Contact" means "you have already notified the contact".In all, it expresses the job status in which:"The job failed, and the relevant contact has been notified about it."Am I guessing correctly ? [OT]

This is indicating that the contact has been notified about the failure to upload.

Part Attributees

Is "Attributees" a typo of "Attributes"?

Yes, it is.

Milestone "{0}" cannot be a summaryActivity

Please confirm that summaryActivity can be translated as "summary activity." Or is it not translatable?

You can translate it to "summary activity".

BlobWrite Status :

Is "BlobWrite" translatable? If so, what does it stand for?

No,It is technical term hence cannot be translated.

Template is using {0}, instead of :{1}

What are indicated with {0} and {1}? What do these stand for?

incorrectDTD, correctDTD. DTD stands for Document Type Definition. This defines how an XML template should be arranged. The normal names for DTDs in Windchill are: "standardX05.dtd", "standardX10.dtd", "standardX20.dtd". This error will give some information along the lines of "using an old version of the DTD: {0}, you should be using {1}". Let me know if this is not sufficient.

ATTENTION: Invalid input data \\ Select a date created SINCE

Is "SINCE" a valiable and not translatable?
Or does this sentense mean either the following:
1) Select a creation date since [something occured], or
2) Select a date created after [specific date]?
Which is correct?

The sentense means 2) Select a date created equal or after [specific date].

きちんと書けば an instance of the "Date Created" attribute などとなりそうなものを a date created のひとことで済ましています。

Is Role Group

Will this be a part of a sentence "Participant Is Role Group"? I need to know whether this string will be concatenated with other strings. If so, what is it concatenated with ?

No, this will not be Concatenated. It is a column name. It is a checkbox column indicating whether or not the role is a group or not.

Error running build: {0}

What does {0} stand for? A build or part number or description of the error?
In other words, which is correct:
1) Error occurred during running a program. (build {0} is a program version)
2) Error occurred after you started to build something (e.g. parts).

description of the error.

ビルド時エラー:{0}

OK です。

{0} failed

What will {0} be substituted with ? A number ?

It will be substituted with the name of the action that the user initiated. For example "Check out failed".

OK です。

Cadence PCB Settings

Please confirm that this "Cadence PCB Settings" is not a product name but simply one of the file formarts that a certain Cadence product can handle or output. I searched for it in the Web but couldn't find a convincing article.

Yes it is one of the file formarts that Cadence SDM product produces.

Column Trace

Does it indicate that the resulted plot will be a bar/column chart? Or does it indicate that the data will be traced and retrieved from a matrix colum by column ?

Indicates type of plot: Column (vertical bars)

On

The description says this is "The header text for the ON column in the Project Revision table." Does it mean that this column indicates the date when the Project Revision is created?

Yes that is correct.

日付

OK です。

By

Please confirm if this "By" is the header of the column in which the names of persons are listed who made the revisions.

Yes that is correct.

created by revised by
